    I wish they'd make content easier but rotations harder/more complex. Expressions of skill should be in rotational gameplay rather than increasingly elaborate and esoteric song and dance routines they have to come up with.

    and unless one's doing blind runs all the time that skill expression drills down to how well they can follow a guide

    You don't do savage. What content do you want made easier? I genuinely want to know what you find hard about the content you do.

    I don’t understand how that’s the point you got from their comment

    They want rotations to be made more complex; this would be counterbalanced by easier encounters across the board. I don’t see how you read that as wanting things made easier

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    My point is that you can't make the content that dude does easier. It's already braindead. I wanna know what they find hard about that content, as those aspects are the things that would be made easier per their request.

    I was then going to jump off and point out that complex encounter design and complex job design can coexist if people put in even a little bit off effort to improve themselves, but I'm going to wait for this guy to respond before I go into that.

    You 100% can make current casual content easier when it’s passed through the lens of more complex job rotations and that’s fine

    Your average player isn’t juggling M8N with HW SCH and nor should the game expect that

    That’s the whole point of more complex rotations being a more desirable outcome because it puts the onus of choosing the level of complexity the person is willing to engage with on the player; not what content they choose to engage with

    Reading isn't your strength it seems. I'm commenting on the insane notion that we can make easy content easier than it already is while trying to find what pain points are considered pain points. Stay on topic if you're going to interject when a question is asked of another individual.

    Like fuck, mam. Your signature says current healers are no longer for you but you still play mostly healer. You decided to stick around and apparently have made that my fucking problem. Did you take offense that I implied content you find to be challenging is actually easy? Did you get upset when I called out a lack of savage, the most common of moderately difficult, content to be difficult?

    If you are so keen to speed run 7k forum posts in 4 years (jfc), use one to answer that same question. What would dumb down in current content, mechanically, to make "room" for more complex rotations? You also don't do any form of difficult content, so you should be able to answer that as well.

    Um, i think the fact they don't do savage makes their point more important actually
    If rotations are made harder, then every content in the game becomes more engaging
    daily leveling roulettes are so damn boring these days cause of how easy rotations have become

    Only time i feel engaged thesee days is doing savage and stuff
