This exists, it's called duty support. they are also adding the lives system to dungeons so you can get carried by the scions
can also play tank, you're immortal as a tank in dungeons pretty much
I wish they'd make content easier but rotations harder/more complex. Expressions of skill should be in rotational gameplay rather than increasingly elaborate and esoteric song and dance routines they have to come up with.



and unless one's doing blind runs all the time that skill expression drills down to how well they can follow a guide
The more high pace of the combat encounters is about the only thing keeping dawntrail afloat for me atm. There is plenty accessibility via the npc's you can run content with and other normal content other players can easily carry you through. I've no interest in seeing combat slowed down for a few people. There's plenty you can do in this game, the last thing the combat needs is further slowed and dumbed down ty.
You don't do savage. What content do you want made easier? I genuinely want to know what you find hard about the content you do.

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

Your average player isn’t juggling M8N with HW SCH and nor should the game expect that
That’s the whole point of more complex rotations being a more desirable outcome because it puts the onus of choosing the level of complexity the person is willing to engage with on the player; not what content they choose to engage with

I think the problem we need to examine is that the average player is just really bad at the game. I don't even engage with EX or savage content unless there's a reward I particularly want because I simply cannot handle how bad at the game the average PF pug is. You can tell them the mechanics point blank and the second they happen they will start running around like chickens with their heads cut off despite being told what's going on and seeing it themselves repeatedly, it's just insufferable. Back in EW I had EXTREME difficulty just trying to get a PF group through O12S despite me giving them a video and explaining every single relevant mechanic. The second they see things happening their eyes glaze over and they just start panicking.
If you ask me, SE shouldn't be making content easier to cater to these people. Instead, they should be introducing harder content much earlier and force players to learn and adapt to this level of complexity as they approach endgame. The vast majority of the playerbase does content on par with taking a nap up until endgame, immediately jumps into an EX or savage, and forces the rest of us to suffer through their failed attempts to adjust to the difficulty spike the game never prepared them for. It's just bad game design.
Also, hot take but we should have less DDR fight design and more DPS checks/heal checks and jobs should be made harder. Turning every fight into a dance competition with braindead rotations isn't particularly enjoyable in my opinion and I am very tired of it.
Reading isn't your strength it seems. I'm commenting on the insane notion that we can make easy content easier than it already is while trying to find what pain points are considered pain points. Like fuck, mam. Your signature says current healers are no longer for you but you still play mostly healer. You decided to stick around and apparently have made that my fucking problem. Did you take offense that I implied content you find to be challenging is actually easy? Did you get upset when I called out a lack of savage, the most common of moderately difficult, content to be difficult?
If you are so keen to speed run 7k forum posts in 4 years (jfc), use one to answer that same question. What would dumb down in current content, mechanically, to make "room" for more complex rotations? You also don't do any form of difficult content, so you should be able to answer that as well.
