It's about time they brought back the old ranked rewards when so many were taken by players win trading and cheating. The top tier of pvp has had no competitive integrity for a long time and this is well documented at this point. Shame on SE not properly punishing people for their cheating.

I don't know when I see people with feast rewards, it just shows me a person that played the worst mmo pvp. It's kinda like those 1.0 tattoos, that mark you as someone that had no taste in mmos, spending time playing 1.0.

Maybe if they make the rewards replicas you will still have the original item while everyone else is running around with the replica version.

As a legacy player, I remember one time for the rising event they brought back white raven and manderville earrings as a thing you could just purchase during the event, even though they were very rare (and very prestigious in the white raven's case), exclusive 1.0 items. Leagues more sacred by most people's measure than anything that's been introduced in ARR and beyond. Relics of a forgotten era most people will never experience in their lives

So let me offer some experienced words of wisdom for you, OP: You'll get over it. It's not that big of a deal really. It's a video game, the world still turns.

The important thing is the memories you have, not the item itself. I still keep a smattering of "dated" 1.0 equips and even some raid pieces from ARR when I first started raiding, and those allagan pieces in particular are worth nothing. Anybody could unsync and get them in a few minutes time. But I keep them anyway, because when I see them in my retainer's inventory, I'm reminded of the struggle I went through to get them, and the friends I made doing so. I don't care if everyone else has them too, that's unimportant. The ones I have are priceless to me

I will never understand people who cry and scream over not having something be exclusively theirs in a game where the thing in question is a pile of pixels or polygons, where the "real world" value should be more in the personal accomplishment then whether or not you have a single soul to show it off to. Do you lament when there is no one to see your success in single-player games, or do you relish in the victory known only to you in that moment when "the end" or "fin" or "congratulations" flashed on your screen?

There is a difference between crying for things they could obtain like ultimate weapons for example and things that are simply not available in the game any more.
The feast rewards could and should have been brought back years ago.
We can talk about the HOW (like rewards for ranked pvp) but not about the IF.


Bring back feast rewards, make it so everything in this game is obtainable for everyone through effort.
We have 2025, nothing in an MMO should be FOMO anymore.
