Yeah only after 80% of the playerbase has unsubbed already.
Completely unimpressive lmao

Job identity was gone, you can do it still if you want to. In a real life situation there would always be someone who doesn't want to wear what someone normally would.
Also I enjoy wearing full armor on mages and make tanks look like they are insane and have barely any armor on.
"But my immersion!" people upset and I'm here for it now that I can use some of the alchemist gear on sage.

In my ideal world I'd like getting into instances where people actually wear combat ready pve equipment (role identity doesn't even mean anything there), and not casual clothing or bikinis, that should be reserved to casual life outside of such instances.
But the price of my immersion is also the price of someone else's enjoyment of the game.
Secretly had a crush on Mao
Mogstation and other event glam threw all that out the window long ago. I'm so happy I can finally use all the nice crafter/gatherer glam.
And I can take out all the stupid dupes of glams that are the same across different jobs. Will save some dresser space.
Long, LONG overdue change.

I am quite happy, yes. This might actually inspire the army of modern/store/lvl1/nier/animal suit-wearing players to change it up a little :P
And those of us who actually care about job identity can actually stick to it more precisely and take pieces from jobs that match our aesthetic to have more options while keeping our identity. Everyone wins, and you'll see it with time.
PLEASE.
Even better: Allow us to group up pieces that share a model but have different colors/dye behavior. Browsing the dresser gets a little awkward when some pieces are 20 lvls apart but are the same thing, just slightly different undyable accent.
If the Crystal Exarch can main tank in mage gear for years now, I don't know why it's been an issue this long for us to do the same or vice-versa for so long.In my ideal world I'd like getting into instances where people actually wear combat ready pve equipment (role identity doesn't even mean anything there), and not casual clothing or bikinis, that should be reserved to casual life outside of such instances.

I am genuinely shocked about job gear being unlocked, but I can live in the Wicce top, Edenmorn caster set and Alchemist (!?) gear forever.

I stopped using actual gear for glams because I could either not use what I wanted due to job restrictions or how it looked on male characters (still a problem for another day) and I am SO excited, to finally be able to actually use GEAR that are not Level 1 All Classes items as my glams. I can finally use crafting gear for my machinist or whatever the heck else.Mogstation and other event glam threw all that out the window long ago. Through twilight, we endure.
