    Synthetic dark matter help

I need help on how to craft the dark matter for the relic

I had not touched crafting this expansion and it took this whole last month just to get all my crafters and gatherers leveled up and meld gear with the minimum stats to even collect the items and start the craft… only to find out I need 100% quality to successfully make the items.
I took all my steps to even get the progress bar to 100%… I don’t understand how to get both to 100%.

Is this even possible with the iLvl 720 orange scrip gear and minimum required stats?
Or do I have to take another 2 months figuring out how to make better gear and farm materia for failing melds and/or going through the moon quests to get better stuff?

Feel like I am falling further behind every week because I can’t get the next level of my relic weapons because of this roadblock.

So the short answer is yes. The minimum stats are always enough for someone who hand-crafts and has a good understanding of their kit. Macro-crafting requires higher stats because they cant take advantage of conditions(and because they want to use as few steps as possible to fit in said macro). Now with that said, "enough" does not mean "easy". Often this means taking the time to HQ any intermediate steps. Unfortunately, that cant help here. These are at least fairly cheap recipes, so that helps a little. If youre struggling to even fill the bar it makes me wonder if you did the job quests. You might be missing a skill or two that could help. For the time being, we have a couple options. We can plug your stats into one of the simulators and see what it spits out. You can use the in-game Trial Synthesis to play with a few different methods and rotations to see if you get a better feel for it.

Or failing that, because these are tradable items you can either buy them off the market board or find another crafter willing to put them together for you if you provide the mats.

You could also purchase them from the MB if I remember correctly? Though not sure on pricing etc. Used to be rather expensive but tanked quickly because people love destroying markets.

This reply is, unfortunately supremely unhelpful, and just plain wrong regarding the important points.

"The minimum stats are always enough for someone who hand-crafts" is just plain flat out false. I have over 300 more craftsmanship, and 500 more control than the game says is required, and I can't even get remotely close to the required quality to successfully craft Synthetic Dark Matters. I'm extremely lucky to even get close to 3/4 of the needed quality while still being able to finish the progress, and I usually only manage about 1/2 on an attempt with decently lucky status procs. I'm running Best-in-Slot DT gear with enough advanced melding done that I'm not going to get THAT much better just from maxing out my melds. And yes. I have done ALL job quests, through ALL expansions.

It's absolute BS. How are we even supposed to do this? It is quite literally mathematically impossible. So what Blindheart and I need here is an actual detailed step by step guide from someone who actually managed to craft these, describing EVERYTHING about what they did and had in order to achieve the desired result.

This reply that boils down to, "Just follow the basic principles and actions that any noob crafter already knows and does for any other craft" is useless. That DOES NOT WORK. Or we wouldn't be needing to ask for help.

I've searched online for such guides, or for any more detailed help, and there seems to just be nothing out there. I'd be grateful to anyone who can provide such a guide. (Provided of course that it actually works as they claim.)

Could try some crafting simulators online to run quick tests. I was able to do it with Everseeker gear back when the patch dropped.

Have you been using food/potions? I typically use HQ Rroneek Steak and Cunning Craftsman's Tisane. Are you doing it with your Specialist classes? Should also post what skills you're trying too.
