The Limited Job system is a failure of the game developer
XI - Darkshade - ShivaXIV - Shade Highwind - Figaro

He does this a lot in Facebook by complaining on the FFXIV groups why FFXIV can’t be more like WoW. He will post photos of the goofy WoW armor asking when we could get similar things.

Given the JP fanfest isn't until Halloween of next year, I think 6.55 will probably be an entire year unto itself before the next expansion. So... at least there's that? The wait really killed the hype, honestly... Before DT, all we could talk about in my friend group was Beastmaster (one friend grinded out the crocodile mount and put together a "Florida Man" glamour to match it in preparation for the job lmao) and not a single peep about it since DT dropped. When is it even coming, 7.55 at this pace...?
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!

Too late they are not cancelling it

The real reason because people did not want to control themNormal Job design isn't going to see any meaningful change, regardless. Why pretend discontinuating Limited Job is going to make any difference?
And if they go and make them regular jobs? You'll get a job with similar beats to the rest, grow bored and leave it gathering dust anyways, at the expense of the few who actually enjoy the content. No one wins.
And the reason SE did away with pets is because they know well they're incapable to make pets actually work as intended instead of carrying dreadful AIs, ghosting commands and getting stuck in places.

Us hoping we can battle monsters like pokemon, when reality it will be nothing like that at all and possibly people will be disappointed.
