other jobs have like 30 jobquests you have to do to get certaib skills... why cant there be a job that needs to catch 30 monsters to get its regular rotation?

and also: they could still add additional monsters but instead of making the job limited they could just limit the strongest skills to certain content.

As a BLU enjoyer, I'm also excited for Beastmaster.

My main issue with Beastmaster is the fact that we're 1 year into the expansion and we still have no idea what Beastmaster gameplay will even be like, besides conceptually (which we already had from old FF games)
They could atleast give us a screenshot of the gear for BST or something... Waiting till next summer for it will be hell.

The wait really killed the hype, honestly... Before DT, all we could talk about in my friend group was Beastmaster (one friend grinded out the crocodile mount and put together a "Florida Man" glamour to match it in preparation for the job lmao) and not a single peep about it since DT dropped. When is it even coming, 7.55 at this pace...?

I'll be so real with you. The best thing that happened to job quests is that they don't give skills anymore.
The job quests can be the most interesting thing ever, but the moment you force me to sit through them to be able to get an AoE I'm out of it. Let's not go there again...

BLU is fairly good about job quests. They give you the gear and unlock relevant content (Carnival) but you can get any skills at your own pace. I personally prefer it that way.

Given the JP fanfest isn't until Halloween of next year, I think 6.55 will probably be an entire year unto itself before the next expansion. So... at least there's that?

On topic, I love Beastmaster. It’s very fun to play as in FFXI. It’s the ultimate survival job. Though I wonder if there will be a monster hierarchy with what is stronger against what.
