That... would make a LOT of sense, even financially for them.
I'm on the fence about buying it (since I'm not generally a fan of remakes unless it's something like FF7-R), but having those sets with promotional codes too would be great.

Tactics is a great game, but what they're charging $50 for is just a visual update and voice acting. You can get War of the Lions, which has actual added content, for $5-$15 and just run it on a PSP or Android emulator.
Yeah, that's why I'm on the fence... Feature wise for the gameplay, there's not a lot new to look forward to other than visuals and the voice acting (which is good by what I've seen).
Is kinda shocking they didn't consider adding WotL new stuff, especially jobs. Maybe they're saving this for paid (lmao) DLCs?

The idea for them being included getting the game is good as well, though I brought up my idea because it would solve the issue with the Alliance Raid roulette (at least a little) because people would want to run them to get it. With the Saucer idea would be similar since you would have to complete the storyline to be able to purchase.
I was very surprised that they didn't redo the soundtrack with an orchestra like they did for Tactics Ogre Reborn and FFXII Zodiac Age.
That 3 cosmetic outfits are more expesive than the remaster itself is surreal.I agree that they should do events to promote their games, hell, they do FF11 events when alot of people don't know ANYTHING about it.
Nevertheless,if you don't want to pay that price, here's the FFT outfits you can get for free in the Ivalice raids(for players who didn't know/realize):
-Ramza's chapter 1- re-imagined outfit(Fending) & chapter 4 outfit(Striking).
-Mustadio's re-imagined outfit(Aiming).
-Agrias's original outfit(Fending).
-Delita's original armor(Fending),the only downside in this one is that it's black/purple and it's not dyeable (dying inside).
-Original Astrologer's(Healing),Samurai(Striking),Arithmetician's(Casting) & Archer's(Aiming) job outfits.
-You also get Ramza's hairtsyle for males and Alma's for females after you finish all the raids.
We actually have alot stuff from Tactics, but man those prices...

You know what they could do? Make them dyeable.
They did change the Valerian sets (armor inspired by Tactics Ogre) to be dyeable for the Remaster release. Should make it to the Ivalice Raid sets too.
Now look how we'll get mediocre stuff that doesn't even remotely compares to this from upcoming Monster Hunter event.
C'mon... Why we are getting 3 full sets, dyeable and in separate pieces in the online store instead of an ingame collab?
One of them, at least?
Those sets are really nice, they do fill in that traditional fantasy silhouette people want (as opposed to modern glams) but as cash shop items? Really a let down.
Mediocre? I criticize SE whenever is due, but the MH event - at least reward wise - seems really packed.
2 glams that despite looking in the same family, still distinct (which is subjective whether you like or not)
A whole weapon collection with upgradables
Minions
Furnishings
Now the only thing that is still to be seen is if the actual encounter will be fun and with good replayability value in both normal and EX modes.
