I'd say they're average to slightly above average. AKA normal. Not everyone can be excellent. You fire bad people. You don't fire average people.

I disagree with this. If someone isn't good at a job you hired them for they should be fired. Imagine if someone doing quality inspections on an airplane was mid at their job.

The problem with team Yoshida is that it was idolized for years, do you think Square and the dev team didn't take advantage of that? Of course they did, they did the bare minimum for years and they're still doing this. They should be fired? I don't think so, not all of them at least, the writer after the last expansion should probably take a break and read some serious books though.
