Yeah you right, this company may keep sailing towards the ice berg then just cost off the bare minimum effort. In turn, yeah I will quit like you suggest. It all comes down to if I believe it is worth it or if a new mmo comes out I rather play. I already did my small protest by cutting all my retainers with no more mog station purchases, and going to basic 1 character for now. Quitting is of course a last resort and that is going to be around when fan fest info starts dropping again during the massive drought. 8.0 is the make it break it moment for me if I come back or not, and my expectations are already low for that.
