Projecting much? I have not seen a die post on these forums or reddit. If they do exist (the world is a big place) using a few fringe examples as the standard is just sad. No one is calling the people defending the game parascoial crazies that send birthday gifts in real life to people who make a video game.

I also think we are past the feedback stage. Inventory issues, we can't fix that but you can pay more. Open data centre travel, can't fix that it killed other centres ques. Healers don't want so little to do, tanks get more heals. Rival wings is two team pvp can't put that into roulette because other thing is three team. Don't want 8 man pvp removed, to bad. Open world is pretty dead, here is a temporary atma grind. Other content never gets updated, squadrons,chocobo racing,breeding,gates. These are things going on years.

People wishing death, joblessness and more on those working on games they play is a tale as old as time, and I think asking people to be civil when sending feedback is not an insane thing to ask. Many of us have received these messages for less, even completely unprompted.


We agree on many things, but I do not agree on being "past the feedback stage". Nothing gives anyone the right to send these threats to anybody, even less over a game of all things. As customers, our most effective feedback is our wallet. Telling someone to die because they didn't implement something you (plural you) wanted or they implemented it wrong will only make them dismiss you. You can be harsh with your critics, but there is a line imho. Crossing it only detracts from your point.

Telling devs that they should be fired is one of the most cruel and deluded things to tell. It's not that different from telling your garbage collector that they should lose their job. By saying this you've essentially stopped speaking about a game and its content, and started speaking about ruining people's actual lives.
I do hope for your own sake that you don't lose yours someday, but I guess that would put it in perspective for you once it actually happens to you. Especially if you don't have any safety net.

Basically this. I guess someone had to spell it out for those at the back still struggling with the concept of not being an asshole over a videogame, of all things. SE will see the numbers drop and hopefully stop making the dumbest decisions known to man.
