I do think tombstone.gg is a several leagues too far, and that site should be scrapped. Its just a bad-attitude, a bad ethos, kind of a poison really.

I also think that if fflogs had any decency they'd make all characters private by default, opt-in not opt-out, and they should either
* commit to reducing to anonymous the activity in all logs of characters who are not opted in. Doing this by replacing all activity with a generic DPS/HEAL value. Details only available to the uploader.
* or any but public viewing of any log that features a character not opted in. Again if you want to be rank #1, and publicly recognised, your going to have to find a static that agrees.

That said, I have found that as long as I avoid discord organised events, that fflogs isn't a problem though.

So I guess fflogs is only a problem for people who think there should be more Chaotic raids like CoD, and raids like FT. Personally I don't care if CoD remains so unpopular they never do another one, same for FT. So keep your fflogs as is as far as I am 'hypothetically' concerned.

"Parse" the log when its uploaded, and just permanently delete the 'name' of any player that is not opted in.
You don't have to do it live. Just keep the log private until you can process it.
There is no reason this is not computationally reasonable given what fflogs already provides.
