Monthly Sub Increase

The sub pricing has barely changed at all for many years; perhaps changing this could result in whatever is necessary to improve the current state of the game, i.e. more staff, more resources, more frequent/better content etc. I'm rather surprised it has not increased yet with the current on-going global financial climate.

Do you think it would make much difference? Would you or the wider player base will willing to accept one?

Honestly, now that they banned Mare and people can't cheat in raids anymore, they'll have to think harder when they play the game, which means that they'll want to buy more things on the cash shop. So thankfully sub prices can stay the same for now. They might actually have enough to afford a QA department for next patch. Exciting developments

Most likely they haven't needed to do this because the population has been growing. Now that this isn't the case, it's possible they will ponder it, but the mog station and merch helps make up for it.

Wholly unnecessary considering the killing they're making on the Mogstation, selling everything at a 298% markup.
Anyone who wants to give more money to Square can whale more on the cash shop, add the companion app to their subscription, and cap out on the maximum number of retainers on their subscription. We're paying enough.

I've always thought the sub price should reflect the amount and quality of content that's released.
I love the game but theres no denying it's being outpaced by its competitors.
Price seems okay for now, even though I've never understood why Aussie's have to pay in Euro for their sub.

With any luck, they can continue to afford the chatgpt subscription that wrote the entire script of dawntrail.
Eventually, the AI that wrote it will figure things out like nuance, characterization, pacing, and agency.
It got sortof close, but clearly Dawntrail was not written by a human. Humans are incapable of botching scrips this badly.
