Don't worry "half" the player base is "quitting" so you should be able to get a house lol

1-2-5 man FC's first off you need a minimum of 4 members to bid so those 1 -2 -3 man FC's can't even bid.So my FC is at gil cap. We're actually about to be there twice, out of sheer spite, because we keep losing bids. We've got a lot of omnicrafters. We've worked hard to earn this gil, and we've been hyper-vigilant about bidding on FC only plots in hopes of grabbing up a plot and freeing up our current one for someone to use. We're 40-60 people, depending on how badly Square Enix decides to make their expansions. There have been points where we've bid on FC exclusive plots (we won't bid on personal/FC combos out of principle–) with 25-30 tickets and STILL SOMEHOW LOST to Suzy Subs-a-lot and her 5 man FC (mostly made of the world's most obvious alts.) Months will go by and nothing will be done with the plot, time passes, and those of us playing the game through massive content droughts get to watch the whole thing rot.
At what point are big, active FCs supposed to cater to someone who grabbed a bunch of their alts and decided to make a group just to bid on a large that's mostly empty to begin with? How is that fair to the people who've put in the effort? Why punish bigger groups of people just because you can't get the numbers out to place more bids?
There are people out there with 1 man, 2 man, 5 man FCs and you're out here pointing blame at people with the time, effort, and money to place multiple bids? You're ON MATEUS – I know you know about Main Ward 12 of the Goblet – and here you are pointing the finger at people who have put in significant effort to get the resources needed to put out multiple bids?
Bananas, op.
ngl they shot themselves in the foot with that, even if it was pressure from Collective shout which lets face it, it probably was.
The fact of the matter is, forcing a take down of that specific thing is a direct attack at the paying players, it does not combat bots, it does not stop the plugin called "player scope" which is what people used to stalk people, those who have it can still use it even with the thing you are talking about being gone. All taking that specific thing away did was prevent people from syncing together so they can have laughs with silly dances together and actual proper cuddle poses. It does not get rid of Sit anywhere it does not get rid of sleep anywhere it does not do anything but stop people from consensually seeing each other. (syncing requires consent and can not be forced on a party that was not willing)
It did not even hiccup bots for a second, it did not hiccup the stalker plugin for a second either.

WAR don't get changes because they don't need changes. They only need more enemies to cleave.
so you hate people paying for a game and playing how they want? gotcha, no ones allowed to AFK ever, even if they are not actually AFK and just hanging out there still actively at their computer game open on main screen and watching a video with their friends in VC. NOPE we have to get the fuck off XIV if we want to do ANYTHING else.
God forbid people play and MMO and do things with their FC's and friends that isn't exclusively spamming dungeons on repeat all day everyday.
Yes. Any other questions?

Now all of the ERPers can go back to Second Life where they came from.

Yeah, some people seriously struggle with entitlement and misunderstood boundaries.
Paying for a subscription or supporting a game doesn’t give you a free pass to do whatever you want.
Your payment isn’t a license to break the rules
It’s an agreement to follow the Terms of Service.
Square Enix tolerated a lot under a “don’t ask, don’t tell” approach when it came to cosmetic mods.
But tools like Mare Synchronos crossed a line and pretending otherwise is willful ignorance.
Just because the rules weren’t always enforced doesn’t mean they didn’t exist.
Looking on the bright side, if these entitled players actually quit over this, a lot of houses might finally free up for real FFXIV players.

nothing is going to stop that, getting rid of that one thing will not stop anything it does not get rid of mods it just makes syncing harder, those "ERPers" that you speak of are currently busy in a private venue manually sharing their stuff and still continuing.
oh are you back and flapping your AI mouth?Yeah, some people seriously struggle with entitlement and misunderstood boundaries.
