I'm not trying to be combative, but I don't understand this line of reasoning. If you hadn't specified that form fitting clothing is what you want I would never have known. It has taken just over 150 posts for this insightful suggestion to appear. While critiquing the game is not your job, how else are the developers supposed to know what you want them to do?Besides, I am not a gear designer, it is not my job to come up with my own ideas and if you've worked in design (or any kind of product development), you'd be aware that customers do not need to be this specific. It is the job of the company to listen to feedback and find out themselves via research and testing what's needed to improve the service.
The worst case with feedback is when the devs listen but still fail to deliver because the request wasn't clear in the first place. The developers waste time creating something new, use up limited resources, and the players are left disappointed because they gained nothing in return. Providing detailed feedback makes this less likely. With good feedback the devs can respond to your requests without missteps and they can respond to the requests of other players without using as many resources that could then go towards your personal wishlist. There is no downside to being detailed and it's completely reasonable to expect players to put at least some effort into providing feedback.
1. I wasn't fully referring to OP it was more in general for some people i've seen on this thread. In general on these forums I've seen a lot of sentiment that because some people don't want to see it, men should only wear masculine stuff.
2. Theirs already tons of masculine stuff in game we've gotten lots recently so even then i disagree with the idea we need more, but if people want more that's valid
I have no issue if you just want masc stuff in the game even if I disagree that we need more.
I agree way too much. I've seen threads pop up often lately about this very topic, I just wish we didn't care what people wear in a video game frankly it's tiring enough to see people be like this IRL people moving the goal post from "oh we don't care" to now suddenly caring and trying to force weird gender stereotypes and roles onto people who don't fit into their box.
By talking directly to the players instead of making the forum appear like a large void that you can yell into or not. If they have any further questions, they need to ask them.
Also, I said this before, so idk why I need to repeat myself time and again.
Okay, maybe quoting these people directly would help avoiding misunderstandings.
I know I'd like more Dark Souls inspired plated armor sets. That's reasonably specific enough. But I don't care enough either so it's just serving as an example for my point.I want masculine glam that shows the shape of my male character, not those huge jackets that turn him into the shape of a tall toddler, if that helps.
Besides, I am not a gear designer, it is not my job to come up with my own ideas and if you've worked in design (or any kind of product development), you'd be aware that customers do not need to be this specific. It is the job of the company to listen to feedback and find out themselves via research and testing what's needed to improve the service.
Are you a gear designer working for the company or why exactly are you so invested in this discussion as you don't seem to care? Because if so, you are doing a poor job at research. I genuinely don't understand why you are here.
Female vs male clothing is purely subjective. Clothing articles, don't have genders. Clothing can be more feminine or masculine, but once again... even that is subjective
sadly not enough room for all the weird male chars with female clothes
btw i know a few people here in the thread which are heavly against "all day cloths in final because it destroys the fantasy" while a male in a dress doesnt destroy the fantasy at all ye? which paradox
bro men can and will wear dresses irl too. what kind of dystopian understanding of gender are you stuck in???
Midcore is when you take a look at an Ultimate, nod along sagely to a guide and decide to do it when you get 12 months of uninterrupted vacation, which is to say: never.
