Firstly, you can do a lot of things in this game, except for going to roulettes or dungeons. And secondly, I can decide for myself what to do and where - without your help.
Interestingly, the replies in the 'comments' section against the YouTube video that Xenosys made regarding THIS forum thread seem to have gone much the same way as this thread:

Note that Xenosys made reference to my reply on page one of this thread.

It's a shame my funny post was in the other thread that got deleted. I'm never gonna make the big time and get noticed by a youtuber.![]()
After recently doing both the dungeon and trial as a tank, gotta say it was overhyped going off this thread.
Out of both I died once on the second boss of Meso Terminal, and all I did was get rezzed, returned to my spot and remembered I have an interupt to stop the vuln up. Fun fight and admittedly caught me off guard, but not at all overly difficult.
They could just look into offering the options that they offer on solo instances to Duty Support runs and then set the Echo based on which is chosen. It wouldn't really matter if someone got gear or other drops and they could adjust the exp to account for the Echo to avoid the idea of someone spamming it for exp. I really don't care if someone wants to power through the dungeon with a high Echo so they can still see and experience the fights but not have to worry if their toe touches x or y mechanic. My hope is they stay this course for at least another expansion because YoshiP himself has said too much friction has been removed and that's bad for engagement. That said, I think something like adding echo to dungeons after a certain point isn't unreasonable.
1 wipe - Nothing
2 wipes - 10% echo
3 wipes - 20% echo
Something like that, maybe different numbers.
I think that's a piece some are missing here. Some peeps who struggle don't want to just watch a cutscene. They still want the interactivity. But they have more difficulty with some of the split-second reactions or trouble seeing and figuring out the tells. So, just let them get hit by something and brush it off in a higher Echo run. They still get to run around and have fun in the fights and enjoy the game. And it won't really have an effect on everyone else because the normal dungeon won't have that Echo. They could also put in the multi-rez thing they've been doing in Duty Support trials but a high enough Echo might negate the need for that.
Almost as if this is a Multiplayer Co-op game. Meaning if Something is to hard for you for whatever reason, there's the Option of simply asking other players for Help.
And it taking a few hours for OP to post about the clear means this game has plenty of people willing to help with clearing mandatory content.
I was watching that. He started well and then, of course, went off on a tangent for a while, about something nobody cares about, while raging. Then.. something something man mode ranging again..hahah.True to his name after allInterestingly, the replies in the 'comments' section against the YouTube video that Xenosys made regarding THIS forum thread seem to have gone much the same way as this thread:

But let me say this, generally, people do not care about others dying in a dungeon, nor do they see it as an inconvenience, despite Xenos thinking so, or viewing that as griefing.
I am sure some people think like he does, but those are a small minority, thank god.
I thought he would be reasonable, but he ended up banning me when I was explaining to him that as a Casual there's a limit to what I can do and I am ok with that. I've cleared it twice with trusts as DPS and tank. It is super easy as tank honestly, but I think the aoes are too fast and the damage is too high for a normal dungeon. In my opinion.I was watching that. He started well and then, of course, went off on a tangent for a while, about something nobody cares about, while raging. "You haven't proven that it is safe, you've (only) proved that you can't figure out how it's dangerous."
I just finished Meso Terminal yesterday with trust NPCs as a green dps & had to ask several times in my head: what is it about the dungeon that trips people off? The dungeon does not throw out anything new outside overtly flashy tells like 3rd boss' telegraphs (ironically it's easier to just see the humanoid simulacra as -the- telegraph because nothing's good ever happening if you stood close to one). Admittedly having only done it once, maybe on 2nd boss have a slightly different thing to deal with on differing role so I can't say much on that one.
I think it would be nice if they added an easy mode for the npc dungeons, I'd also say if you need help with content I'd be willing to help, I cleared it with some friends without a healer on launch so if the healer dies that doesnt affect us. I'll also say most raiders don't care if the healer dies, if we do the mechs properly we can carry. I can't speak for casual players, but I'll spend 30 minutes to an hour and a half at times helping sprouts clear content they struggle with so don't feel like a burden if you die.
