Yeah I never understood why robe = feminine clothing is such common take.They're unironically making the the "robe = female" argument.
Imagine unironically saying "I want to dress my male character like a man to modern understanding" as if there is some universal objective metric that all cultures have come to agree on, that objectively determined that x clothing is in fact "for males" and "modern"
Does that mean that Gandalf in Lord of the Rings is actually a femboy?

Gandalf such a "woke lib." He was obviously trying to feminize alpha males with his robe apologist propaganda. Gandalf wasn't aware that to be "masculine" means you have to dress like Guts from Berserk
