Is Meteion Dead?

I love the idea of her randomly showing up in the background, there for those who care to observe and find her. It's a nice, non-intrusive way of showing what she's up to!

She shouldn't be dead.
At least one of them was shown to be alive on Etheirys.
She just doesn't serve a purpose in the story anymore, or at least she isn't needed in the story right now.

I don't honestly think she has a role to play in the MSQ at this point, but it would be great to see her (perhaps in bird form) pop up at, say, the Moonfire Faire or the Starlight Stalls observing the celebrations.

Just imagining her singing along with other birds or for a group of children warms my heart T ^ T so cute.

Her hanging out side-by-side with the shoebill would be a nice easter egg, or sitting on the shoulder of the Lalafel always hiding in bushes in the Hildebrand quests. ^^

I thought Meteion helping us with the Cosmic Exploration would have been a good opportunity to make use of her character again.
Too bad it looks like it isn't going to happen.

I can think of a couple situations where it could make sense for her to pop up again, but not anytime soon. I mean really it depends on where the goes, and I don't think we can really say at this point. I don't think she'd show up unless it made sense for her to, I suspect the reason she's not showing up in the world is in case they want to make it so that she's up to something in the background later on if they decide to take the story in a direction where it would make sense for that to happen. They only write one expansion at a time though so that's a big if.

Like maybe she's going back and trying to figure out what happened to Ostrokon Hena and is uncovering stuff that has to do with Auracite and Ultima. I have no idea if they're going in that direction with the story but there's some evidence that that's where things might be heading.

That would be perfect. Picture this: During Starlight, you are approached by an individual who is enthused about a new Starlight song she heard a group of children singing. After some investigation, you locate the children and they tell you it was taught to them by their secret friend. Wanting to meet this secret friend, you find nothing but a single blue feather. Later, as you listen to the children again, a starbird can be seen. It winks at you and flies off into the sky as snow begins to fall.
