I think it looks neat but I wish they had a top without the jacket or better yet, a toggle like /visor does for headgear that takes off the jacket and vice versa, so many glam tops would massively benefit from such toggle.

Actually been looking forward to this one. This game has always been pretty modern with it's swimsuits, Im just glad to have an option for female characters that isn't super feminine. As someone with a tomboyish hrothgal, this is way closer to what I'd imagine her wearing to the beach. So many summer event rewards have been annoyingly different based on gender. So its refreshing to have another that's identical.
I wouldn't be caught dead in that ugly wetsuit.

Agreed! I suggested such a thing in a thread some time ago. We need way more toggle options for gear.
wow its a copy & paste, so lazy
THANK YOU!Being a modern glam enjoyer in this game is amazing. You get to see hypocrites hiss and throw fits because the modern clothes "don't fit" the "aesthetic", but you will NEVER see these people in Turali gear (eg the ceremonial crafted set) even though that's half of the expansion's aesthetic
If they had their way, we'd be getting nothing but rehashes of the Cryptlurker sets every patch until this game reaches EOS
Since 2.0's launch as the Final Fantasy theme park / x-over with anything MMO, FFXIV has had an anything goes aesthetic.
Nothing is out of place here.
Twenty years ago we had Final Fantasy X and its sequel, where some of the characters wore outfits not too dissimilar to this.
And despite the relationship between the dream Zanarkand and the "real" Spira being what it was, X(and even X-2) still had more visual cohesion than modern XIV.
Cute outfit I can see using it a lot for glamours.
