Not getting my hopes up for much. If FFXIV 1.0 taught me anything it's that it's just better to be patient instead of overhyping yourself.

I mean, you can be as positive as you want. Which sure, may work for you, but just look at their showings in previous years. Not only has JP lost it, but SE has really taken the plunge. JP methodology is killing their industry.

With 1 month away being E3 time there's only 1 thing about E3 I care about.. THAT'S THE FFXIV E3 PROMOTIONAL TRAILER!! =).

I just hope they'll have some gameplay down at the show floor ( Which they probably will seems like they have a playable build.)

September is for the PS3 Beta Version, the PC Retail version starts then as well or else they would have said ( Begin distribution of version 2.0 software for PC Beta Version)

Its actually a little ambiguous, but I think SE said current subscribers get early access, which is what that Begin distribution of version 2 is, when they will allow us to download the finished client, the beta could be before that, and what we will get in sept-oct is the finished version.

That very much could be Dalamud. Certainly seems distinctly airborne compared to the crystallized Aether artwork.

I just hope it is not a repeat of the E3 this game was announced, huge excitement and hype and then bitter disappointment. I am pretty excited about seeing it but if this all goes sour I don't think I can forgive them a second time. I am both excited and nervous.

I Mean.. if they were both in Beta wouldn't they put it all in one Sentence.. like this:

Its just how I read it.. that the Beta is before Sept.. for PC users..

・Post-January 2013 – Version 2.0 client (PC and PlayStation®3 system) goes on sale

That just means everyone else who doesn't own FFXIV can finally Purchase it.. Current users get "Special access" I suppose because we get the Client 4 months in advanced.. so I think they want to put 2.0 live first for the current players.. to make sure everything is in tip top shape.. use that 4 months to Stress test.. then put the game out to the public on Jan 2013.
