While I can understand things like max-level crafted gear prices could be seen as ‘expensive’ by a newer player…I feel like by the time you reach level 100 you should kinda know that the high values don’t actually reflect high costs. 190,000 Gil is literally pocket change to the majority of players - they could just discard it and it wouldn’t even make a dent in their budget. 1M for the full set, again, is an incredibly tiny amount to the majority.

And to preface, I say this as a chronically poor (and maybe lazy) player with abysmally low stores of Gil. I have maybe 3-4M on my retainers on a good day lol; even I don’t struggle with buying crafting gear. Frankly I even threw some of it away pre-patch for inventory space. Can always just buy it again if necessary.

What gets me is that if you don’t craft/gather literally every component by yourself (or commissioning others), the cost of item production often exceeds the sale price lol.
