Dancer is a ranged DPS and dashing as Reaper also gives you one free ranged attack, so they automatically have far moere range than the tank. And everyone runs at the same speed and sprint can only get you so far ahead.

i'm fully aware of what dancer and reaper can do, i pull ahead on them frequently. you could've mentioned ninja for its teleport as well. that doesn't mean it's a problem. reaper has the same survivability skills as any melee in addition to arcane crest (and the regen from that breaking if you're high enough level). dancer has shield samba and curing waltz, along with arm's length. letting a dps's healthbar be your mit for a moment is not the end of the world and i'm happy whenever someone uses their movement skills efficiently enough to pull ahead of me enough to do that when i tank.

tanks also have gap closers that can take you further than a reaper's dash, although imo they should be unlocked sooner, and tanks can frequently get ahead of me even after i've dashed ahead of them.
