The Worst Patch Trailer in FF History?

I dont talk or play much anymore since dawntrail because I really hate dawntrail honestly.

But the trailer looked the same as always.

Maybe for you all its just that you're not excited for more dawntrail so this doesn't look great. I don't know just my thoughts.
Like I could've used less Wuk Lamat, but I could always use less wuk lamat.

I think this has a lot to do with people complaining about spoilers in the trailers and the team trying to throttle back stuff.

I mean, I never felt that way. Anyone who calls a trailer a spoiler.... well... nice answer: Just don't watch it, and I'm sorry you feel that way and thank you for ruining it for the most of us.

There's nothing to be excited for. No plot points to expand that we care about or characters we are exploring. It feels like a normal episode of some sitcom and we're going through the motions.

I hope they did this intentionally to hide spoilers and we get a surprise but I also know to temper my expectations but I'm still trying to be optimistic.

I personally don't like trailers... in general. Let it be games, or film, XIV is no exception.

Pretty rare I see any kind of trailer that is more well thought that those cut sequences that create false flash-cliffhangers, over-hype stuff or reveal too much.

This is my fundamental problem. There is no mystery to intrigue me. No plot threads the resolution of which I care about. Whatever uninteresting problems are thrown in our path, we'll solve them and everybody claps.

It's becoming increasingly apparent the entire game is a pain for SE to make with all these "costs" and overworked developers and the impossibility of hiring people.

Good grief why don't they just give up at this point.

I usually don't watch trailers, so I can't compare this one to the others. But this here was a boring mishmash of whatever.
And I swear - if Real Sphene really puts on that old crown and gets mind controlled by Mad Kid Nerd, I will never find out how 7.3 ends. I suffer from a severe allergy to stupity, and this would definitely cross the line.

It was downplayed, which I kind of expected with how hush hush they've been about the trial and dungeon as those two things seem to be the most "substantial" parts of the patch next Tuesday. Could have been better, but its just a trailer.
I've seen so many of them for this game that I just kinda watch the Japanese one at the start of the PLL, English during the replay and leave it at that.

I simply dont watch spoilers
