7.3 Hopefully the end of talking to Wuk Lamat

I skipped MSQ for the first time in all my time playing in 7.1, skipped 7.2, and based on Wuk's one cringe and horribly executed line in the trailer, it looks like I'm skipping 7.3 as well. Praying we're finally done with her after this patch.

Mute the Voice in sound settings or type /voice in the chat box to mute and unmute it. Then you can watch the cutscenes without hearing any of the VA and without changing languages. Unless you want to skip the cutscenes too.

I was hoping to get through the preview video without having to hear her. I thought after 2 minutes they weren't going to give her any lines but then she started screaming lol.

Here's hoping she sticks around for longer. I love her goofiness and voice so much, Wuk Lamat is easily one of my favorite characters in the game

Agreed. It’s like players don’t want someone who has a different look on life as well as personality. Which is interesting with how many threads were made on hating Alphanaud, Zenos, zro, and tons of other characters across the years.

I enjoy Wuk Lamut. Her bright personality, innocent outlook on things, energy to help her county. Been missing that in the game.

I stand by my previous desire. If I had the choice to Baldur's Gate 3 delete 'Fooor mmyyy pppeeeople' Wuk, I'd do it. Even if the story crumbled to ash.

I am unsure that there have been this many discourses surrounding any other characters than those surrounding Wuk Lamat. When the spotlight of an entire expansion is unevenly given to a single character, whilst sidelining others, it is bound to have some strong reactions.

Judging by how angry Wuk got in the trailer, and the blood on her hands/axe, I'm pretty sure she'll have to kill the real Sphene who gets possessed by the Tiara and becomes evil.

Hope not. Real-Sphene becoming evil via the tiara/crown would be a bit predictable to be honest.

It's obviously going to be relevant to the plot in some way, but I really hope they don't do something as obvious as "Sphene puts the crown on and turns evil".

Well, we're going to a new arc. So Wuk Lamat would have a time out in the next two patch and the expansions. But i think she will be back in later expansion.

Out of curiosity.
Does someone know if the team that was in charge for the story between 2.0 and 3.5 is completely gone?
Back then they didnt really hesitate killing off good written characters like Moenbryda Wilfsunnwyn and Papalymo Totolymo. Now we are stuck with the same cast for ages without any lost.
