    This is a very backwards relationship to have with a corporation. SE is a business and yoship is a businessman, not your friend. Never forget that, because if you make the mistake of thinking that they care about you, they will take advantage of that misplaced goodwill 10/10 times.

    They should be grateful for YOUR patronage, not the other way around. As a paying customer, you have every right to voice your dissatisfaction and demand a better experience. Don't try to appeal to their feelings, they don't care. They care about the bottom line and making number go up, but if you tell them you'll keep playing regardless of what they do or don't do, then why would they ever listen to you? They already got you, hook line and sinker, so they have no reason to spend any effort trying to appease you.

    Why can't it go both ways? I can be grateful for what I paid for getting updates and improvements, and I'm genuinely happy with the things that they do decide to work on, even if some other things I'd like get left out. I have faith in Yoshi P that he is grateful for the people who continue to play the game, and I think there's been plenty of times that he's shown that.

    The experience /is/ good, and I don't have to complain just because it's not perfect. You said I have every right to voice my opinion, and I did. Respectfully.

    I'm not sure if you understood the comment from Velthice. You "can" be happy for certain things but you may realized that this game hasn't been respecting your time nor your money. YoshiP isn't your friend. He just cares about your subscription like any business man would. Square doesn't care about us either and they have clearly showed that.

    I myself hate them for not releasing housing update. It's what they always do. They give you a hype, they want you to feed on it and then never release the content they promised or do it after 1-2 years. Am very disappointed with 7.3 patch.

    If you hate them then I hope you unsub. It's not good for your own mental health to feel this way and it's not good financially to pay for something if you aren't getting what you want the most from it.

    Also, I think Slainne perfectly understood. Their point was that housing was obviously not the make or break it seems to be for you in FFXIV. If you haven't unsubbed then it's not really a make or break for you either. I don't care about housing so this doesn't affect me, but if people unsub for it? The first time I unsubbed to WoW was because they removed class quests and changed a mount I quested for. We all have different reasons for playing these games. We aren't a monolith and everyone wants something different in their gaming experience and I respect that.

    Kinda signed off on the fact that they have a skeleton crew running CBU rn. I have very low expectations on their talents and integrity. So it comes as no surprise they havent gotten anything done.

    100% Numbers speak volumes

    Higher numbers = Success, also, promotes complacency.
    Crashing numbers = CS3 and Yoshi P need to light a fire under their own arses and figure out what's going on and wrong here to lose as many players, also promotes the willingness to do better.

    They do receive and take feedback. Not all of it, as these forums are/can be a cesspit. But there are a lot of good opinions/suggestions - they get snuffed out by the idiocy that plagues the forums.

    Think the first course of action is getting GMs to start getting rid of garbage/trolling posting just to make room for actual feedback that's constructive and can be questioned/challenged civilly.

    That isn't gonna happen with the overly extra triggered, the trolls and ragebaiters in full flight.
