This is a very backwards relationship to have with a corporation. SE is a business and yoship is a businessman, not your friend. Never forget that, because if you make the mistake of thinking that they care about you, they will take advantage of that misplaced goodwill 10/10 times.

They should be grateful for YOUR patronage, not the other way around. As a paying customer, you have every right to voice your dissatisfaction and demand a better experience. Don't try to appeal to their feelings, they don't care. They care about the bottom line and making number go up, but if you tell them you'll keep playing regardless of what they do or don't do, then why would they ever listen to you? They already got you, hook line and sinker, so they have no reason to spend any effort trying to appease you.
