The problem is they went backwards. 7.0 should have been the job changes, not the content changes. If anything the content changes show how stale the jobs have been since shadowbringers and endwalker.

Well said, OP.
To be frank, a lot of opinions did not originate from these content creators; players generated them and allowed them to become the right voices. Content creators merely reinforced those already existing views on a broader platform.I stopped watching her because her hate-boner for Dawntrail felt kind of mean-spirited and manufactured. Every criticism she's given it's just very popular takes on this expansion so I decided it was better to part ways.
I felt like this for every other streamer, I don't know why suddenly we have given them the voice of what's acceptable or not in FFXIV.
What content changes?
Whatever we had for the encounter design didn't feel innovative enough to justify not having job work done. If we go by that metric, what's even to expect in 8.0's jobs?
Dawntrail fights are better than Endwalker's, but that's a natural progression.
That a load of rubbish.Except that the challenge of modern FFXIV PvE combat design is more akin to memorizing the first ten-thousand digits of Pi and being able to recite them back without fail, on demand, repeatedly.
It's a feat, to be sure, but relatively few find it fun and rewarding to pull it off themselves.
There are plenty of players who enjoy raiding and find it enjoyable but you casuals cannot fathom that some people enjoy getting better at a hobby they love instead of having everything handed to them while crying that they want to relax.
Its nothing at all like learning Pi or anything hard. You go in. You die a lot. And you learn and improve throughout progression until you can cross that hurdle and when you do it feels good!
MONEY!! Instead of putting it back into this game it funds every other gameI honestly don't understand why their mentality would not be make the normal version first and then if there are resources, make a harder version.
Memorizing the first 10,000 digits of pi isn't particularly hard. I'd find that much easier than clearing savage.

Know why? People are different. And this obsession raiders have with pushing non-raiders into savage is frankly bizarre.
It's almost as if you want us to waste as much time as you do.

I look just like the roes next door... if you happen to live next door to an amusement park.
I don't think that is what is being asked here. It is evident that a significant amount of content, especially in this expansion, is geared towards individuals who prioritize raiding. This is fine, but in doing so, they have neglected the wants of the general player base, and that should be their primary concern. That a load of rubbish.

Not one is asking to have those rewards handed to them on a silver platter, but rather to receive more content that can be enjoyed by the majority of players playing this game.
