Let me tell you on how I played FFXI, I didn't do the norm, I never subbed nin, I never had "gear you should have" yet I was one of the better thfs. Sooo ya.30 w/o gobbie bag, but w/e I had 240 on char it didn't make me like gear swapping. I had 4 chars, it just made it more of a pain in the ass, log relog relog some more to get geared, fk that.
This, yes, so right.
Why do people say things like, "If you don't like it don't do it, play how you want." and always leave out the part where ppl will kick you, or simply not invite in the first place. I don't care if I get called gimp, but being "forced" to carry gear and swap for every ability again in this game wouldn't make me happy.
I think though that the best reason to not include it remains, it wasn't meant to happen in XI it was an exploit that was so widely put to use that SE allowed it to stay and designed content around it as best they could. Why would they bring something from XI that they didn't want into this game?
