I just hope that the diehard "pre made that don't want randoms in their difficult endgame content are entitled gatekeeping trashbag humans" crowd finally wakes up with this.

Y'all couldn't play nice and abide by decent social norms and etiquette, so now the devs are putting in a hard system to prevent you from being able to even access the content, all to prevent you folks from behaving poorly in public spaces/defending people's bad behavior in public spaces.

Pretty sure it would never occur to the devs to make a change to prevent people from (allegedly) "behaving poorly." Certainly not an off-patch warmfix.

As noted elsewhere, the cipher system and the fact you cannot choose which instance you enter is a big red sign from the devs saying: "This content is not designed for a 48-person premade."

Right. As released, you couldn't enter as a 48-person premade. That was the original intent.

This pissed off a significant chunk of the players, so SE changed it.

Good on them for actually breaking the mold! I hope this can become a more regular thing and that they deploy fixes in between patches instead of forcing players to wait for the arbitrary schedule.

So, is this them pretty much catering to the hardcore players completely and leaving randoms in the dust, or is this making it so folks can all join premades easier? Trying to see if they are basically telling casuals to stay the F out of OC and Forked Tower and this is now solely for premade discord groups.
