We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

Honestly, if they don't want to allow this because of that stupid excuse of "BLM can't look like an armored tank" (which is insane given we can already with several items...) - AT LEAST let the groups that usually share the same models like... share the glamours lol.

So, the restriction would be lifted between Caster + Healing / Scouting + Aiming + Striking / Fending + Maiming.

It's the ideal perfect scenario? Not really, but at least better than nothing.

But it's not even like there is much attempt to be consistent with those sets. Like that one round of all road warrior studded gimp leather, for everyone.

All four tanks are iconically different, with only 2 kinda being your traditional full plate guys. Paladin is your "White Knight" and Dark Knight is your typical "Black Knight". Warrior is more of a barbarian with fur, leather and bone with a few bits of rough iron. Gunbreaker is your outlaw/biker with mostly leather. Dragoon wears plate but is more agile and spiky. Reaper is all black cloaks and crap. There is no set the looks like all 6 of those.

The concept of job identity doesn't exist outside of weapon and artifact gear. I've said it before; armor should lose its jobs when placed in the Glamour Dresser or Armoire.

Keep up the good fight on this, I have been wanting a pair of boots for my combat classes for years that has been locked down to being only for Gatherer's. It's very disheartening seeing so many fantastical pieces and knowing I can't use them in my current favorite glamour designs because of job restrictions

It would be sooooooooo cool if they announced they were removing role restrictions on glamor in 7.3 in the upcoming live letter.

I just acquired the level 100 Blacksmith top - I hope the next patch allows me to wear it!

Right now I can't even wear it as a Blacksmith due to the lack of glamour plates, let alone on other jobs...

I always give an honorable mention to the Edengate set where Striking got to share models with... the Healing robes. Like, what?! (And ironically the strinking set dyes better)
