    SE has managed hold people hostage with housing, and I think that's the biggest reason why people still log in to the game even if they have nothing to do at all.

    Yeah and I don't like the practice either, it's extremely malicious and unfair, but it's just one of many examples of the increasingly egregious monetisation of the game. Unfortunately the housing hostage situation only happens because it's successful, too many people are afraid to let go - it exploits the sunk cost fallacy and human condition.

    no one force those player to keep theyre house so it isn't really well yes it is but it is also player fault. But! it shown the weakness in housing in itself housing should be personally instances in my book so it never vanish or get destroyed.

    But again SE is a indie so can't ask to much
