    I am curious, where does this actually get into play? Fates and CEs are knowledge level agnostic, and gold farming is usually done at lvl20, and even if people wanted to farm mobs at lower level and take advantage of that sync, they'd still have to deal with the chains breaking all the time when someone levels up. On top of it, people just go for CEs and silver coin content (which is knowledge level agnostic) precisely because that's where their atmas drop from.

    It seems like this (and a lot of other things like slow on time mage, stun on samurai and a few others) was designed in a way that it was imagined that people would kinda move around and feel out different things, chaining single mobs with odd level arrangements and using any job they had available, seeing which mob could be hit by what thing and so on which is actually kinda how it worked for like 2 days before everything gold coalesced around canoneer and tanks rendering field utility useless

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
