Well unfortunately I live in America, and every single person under the banner is under the sniper scope. Doesn't matter that you're the quietest lamb at the slaughter. Doesn't matter you're the most millenial greige farmhouse of a gay in existence. You're under the scope.

In case things die down from here, I'll reiterate what I felt were the strongest parts of the posts that got deleted; cross-dressing is hard to separate from homosexual life both culturally and politically. The police advantaged archaic laws about "sex impersonation" to harass gay bars and other public meeting places in the late 60s, targeting drag queens, butches, and of course transgender women and men. Without the ability to gather in public, it would have been impossible to organize, so it was important to resist that harassment and re-assert the right to homosexual and gender non-conforming public life. I say this because arguments against making these glams available for men tend to lean on similar outrage regarding "decency," which comes from an understanding of women's sexual role compared to men's.

If you believe a woman's sexual role is to be degraded by a man, then you'll understand any expression of femininity, womanhood or female sexuality as inherently degrading. People then do not want to see men engage in that sort of thing because they do not want to see men being degraded, but they'll accept it for women, because that's their role. But that admits to a deeply negative and pessimistic attitude towards women. The idea that men could enjoy doing the things women do is deeply disturbing to some people; they need those worlds to stay separate. But in a digital space, the stakes are so low and so unimportant, that it's one of the best times to have that fun. I think that's why people of all genders and sexualities are drawn to games like these and why they have interest in feminine glam options.

If this post gets taken down too, I think that will be a shame, because there's value in talking about the disagreements sincerely. But hey, it's pride month, so what better time to try and make the case for queer dignity. We'll see if this is still up in the morning.

For anyone against men in this game wearing women's thongs, look at this way. Personally I don't find it appealing as a straight dude, and it's easy for me to say it wouldn't bother me if it stayed locked - because it wouldn't. But then conversely I can make my female Miqo'te character look like a black metal chick (black leather jacket, black trousers and a beanie hat - as I have for one class). Now, it would bother me if I couldn't make my character look like this - which is probably more masculine. I also gave her a suit like Cissnei/Elena from the FF7 Turks, which is using the best man's gear. There are probably people who think these a very unappealing look - whilst thongs on a male look good. Why should I get to make my character look like a tomcat, and not the other way around? It wouldn't be fair. I even made my female Miqo'te character look like the manliest man at one point (Duke Nukem) but that glamour got deleted, I'll save that for a Roegadyn.

If a feature isn't added for political reasons/to exploit for money (which I don't see this as being) let people dress how they want in-game. As for other arguments, is it immersion breaking? I've seen a Lalafell dressed as Ugandan knuckles. Or is it not appropriate for younger players? half the cat and lizard girls in this aren't appropriately dressed for younger players, my black mage glamour isn't anyway. Let dudes free their butt.

I've watched a lot of news from the US and EU both, pretty much on the daily, hell I've even watched more republican and democrat channels alike, I have never heard of this, care to provide a source ?

They essentially admit to what they really want,support or are okay with. And that is a HUGE part of the movement coalescing under Trumpism. These movements are on the rise, globally and in all of those countries you mention. You are not as safe as you think.

You have rights because of civil rights movements fighting for it. And so you are legally protected. That does not mean your whole country accepts you.

I dont watch Nick Fuentes or people like him, I watch less extreme opinions because that kind of extreme doesnt interest me so I guess that's on me, fair.

Also to your second question, I was more saying that LGBTQ+ people have been accepted for quite a long time now (which is good, just for clarification), it's not really a very recent thing. Once again I am talking mostly from an europe perspective, the US is a whole different thing on its own
