A big part of how they measure success, based on how they talked up the EW relics, is participation metrics. If they remove most of the lingering incentive from the old field ops by putting their most valuable rewards in the new one, they can brag about how many people played OC instead of Eureka and Bozja combined.

Ik but still, the new shiny stuff usually is enough for the start... its just frustrating... imagine buying the mount for 8-12 mill and two days later its 600k lol
