Unless they add new levels to Phantom Jobs in the next zone, your bonus will carry over.

There are only going to be 2 zones. They said that 7.3 won't add anything because they want the deep dungeon in the spotlight, 7.4 will be more phantom jobs, and 7.5 will be a new zone.
i dont get the hype for the previous spell systems, Having "solo'd" alot of the previous content, i find Phantom Jobs are an improvment than the previous systems bc all i ran in those was Protect and Shell, this system basicly forces me to use other skills
Agreed on Phantom Jobs feeling an improvement, no rng or gil cost just to get the actions I need to be able to pull my weight.

Sounds to me like you have not really engaged with the possibilities that Lost Actions and Essences allowed you to do. You could transform any class into any role, some lost actions dramatically changed how you played your jobs rotation too. All of those things are not possible with what Phantom Jobs provide. In terms of depth, if Lost Actions were a swimming pool, Phantom Jobs are puddle.
That is the one thing Phantom Jobs do better than Lost Actions, imho. The fact that Lost Actions were not unlockables but consumables meant that it caused some players to not experiment with the possibilities of the system.
RIP Viper 28/06/2024 - 30/07/2024. It was a fun month.
While I think that, overall, Lost Actions are the best implementation of the system so far, you're right that, by being unlockables instead of consumables, Phantom Jobs/Actions are a lot easier/more approachable to experiment with since you're not losing any resources. Also, I will admit I am 100% guilty of not really playing around with the Logos Actions too much mostly because of the RNG chance to just not get anything for it (I get the low chance for success was to balance out the power of the better actions, but those chance percentages did scare me off until I started farming BA for a bit before the end of EW).Sounds to me like you have not really engaged with the possibilities that Lost Actions and Essences allowed you to do. I kind of doubt 7.4 is going to *just* be new phantom jobs and think we might get some instance akin to Delubrum Reginae as an intermediary.
I'm also hoping that they allow some degree of mix/matching job abilities in the last instance to expand the possibilities of the system.
that's exactly what i mean. CLL/dal, you can coordinate enough via shouts, and anyone could just hop in without necessarily having an optimized build or premade team. everyone in the zone at a high enough level can just hop in and go. boss health %, hostage rescues, and all that were quick and easy to communicate. along with just being fun. i've done delubrum once or twice just for story, and dont have much of a desire to go back.Tbh I never bothered with discord stuff in shadowbringers and you could just do CLL/dalriada following shouts. That said, it was possible to fail the duty since if you wiped a bit too much, you would run out of time. But yeah you didn't need to discord anything. Duty pops, you join, you do it.
Very much so. I think what Phantom Jobs do better is introduce some form of second layer of progression in the area, since the level is kinda... lacklustre like in Bozja. It has no incidence whatsoever for most things unfortunately.Sounds to me like you have not really engaged with the possibilities that Lost Actions and Essences allowed you to do. From what I've seen Phantom Jobs are pretty much designed with Forked Tower in mind really. They do have some unique little identities that aren't uninteresting, and you have the thief for the traps, the time mage for adds, canoneer for debuffs, etc.
I just got tired of constantly losing out to the fragment rng. Especially as a physical ranged player who was stuck with only one buff essence(skirmisher) that was obtained from a fragment that had six other possible actions.
