It wouldn't make sense for our character (or anyone but Gaius) to wear it.
Bring back 6.0 Dragoon. I want my job back.
Yeah, NPC outfits aren't anything new
and if the reasoning really was something about how it'd make Eorzeans feel then I'd point to the vanguard fending set and how we can wear it in Tuliyollal
as an aside
Is the FFXIV mobile version still beholden to a monthly subscription? I assumed it was going to be its own thing and be kind of like the free trial
So you'd play for free up to a certain point as they release updates but have a lot of microtransactions
IIRC Yoshi-P said there wouldn't be gacha but probably just microtransactions stuff for the mobile since it's different devs.Yeah, NPC outfits aren't anything new

Also, I have no horse in this race since I found most Garlean armor to be ugly, but I loved that they previewed on a lala over anyone else.

I saw the preview and it looks so weird lol the tiny skeletal face of the mask is uncanny
The funny thing is, most armors already have 16 dye channels, but they are not enabled.
What I hope is, they will adopt this engine and port their assets over; they are already doing it anyway. Also, I saw some of the gameplay, and it looks like you have vastly more stuff to do and a lot more to interact with, which is something SE failed to address, as the starting zones feel very irrelevant and empty after you are done with MSQ.
The people who develop "Quality of Life" Plugins for MMORPGs are NOT the kind of people who you want working for your multi-million dollar company.SE should just hire the devs of those QoL plugins and mod glams, even if it's temporary but much could be done that would vastly benefit console players if they were officially incorporated into the vanilla game. They also need to have a team work on a true graphics overhaul that would be 4K quality once PS4 support ends and make it optional for those that don't have the hardware for it.
"Why, yes I would like to employ this INCREDIBLY spiteful lawsuit waiting to happen."
Let me give you a japanese translation. When they say "We dont have resources" "Time" "Funds" "Its a bit difficult" "Maybe" "We will see" "Please look forward to it" or some other excuse.
Its "We CAN do this, but why should we" chat bubbles and Viera hats etc shouldve been out already, but they dont WANT to do it yet.
You can just look at all of the stuff that Yoshi P had promised in the past that hasnt happened or the opposite happened. Or something that isnt possible is suddenly possible 5 years later
Where is this "16 dye channel" information coming from? The funny thing is, most armors already have 16 dye channels, but they are not enabled.

Please provide relevant evidence before making claims. (I heard from some guy that heard from another guy is not evidence)
