Before SE put auto demo constantly on pause, there was ~~7 year and half to 8 years, even if there's 100 bids, there is no way you lost under both placard and under lottery both, I'm sorry.I guess I could have used more words but I am trying to get across the point that what they are asking for is not instances but segregation/privacy. They ask for instances but they are already instanced and an instance is an instance no matter how you look at it.
Oh yes when there has been no housing available for over a year and auto demo keep getting turned off for months and months and months at a time with no end in sight.
Not like I can't afford it,
When a medium shows up if its unrestricted 80+ bids if it's FC only MINIMUM 45+ bids
uhm I had a personal house back in HW but I did not have an FC house if I made it sound like I could afford a housing during that period I am sorry I was merely meaning I have been around that long. I still have a small personal. However I was not able to afford until after the housing changed to lottery and I do no appreciate you saying "there is no way you lost under lottery" because that is literally a gamble and there is and never will be a guarantee that you win ever especially when 80+ people are bidding at the same time as you for the plot you want, not to mention you can't bid on multiple plots just one a week.
I'm not going around on alt's with billions of gil buying up FC's and owning wards, like some disgusting players do.

If that is how me saying that I created my FC on 01/01/2016 and I still have yet to get an FC house was taken it's my bad for poor wording I just meant I have had my FC for that long and in that time of building up Gil to get a house at each corner I have been unable to attain a house be it because of how expensive they were and or the unluck with lottery. however on Behemoth which I have resided since 2015 it's rare to see mediums and larges available even when auto demo is enabled. That's a big difference though, your original post sounded like you had entered housing for that long be it for FC or personal and through lottery or placard, I am not defending the terrible housing system (especially the lottery, placard was better, even if people hate to admit it) but you havent been trying for housing for that long which imo needed clarification.
Fair, I still dont think going to Dynamis is the right choice, you'll end up on a dead/dying DC that people are avoiding like a plague because its just never going to grow to a fully functional DC, most people also wont care enough to come over through DC travel just to visit, decision is up to you really, but I'd advice agaisnt itIf that is how me saying that I created my FC on 01/01/2016 and I still have yet to get an FC house was taken it's my bad for poor wording I just meant I have had my FC for that long and in that time of building up Gil to get a house at each corner I have been unable to attain a house be it because of how expensive they were and or the unluck with lottery. however on Behemoth which I have resided since 2015 it's rare to see mediums and larges available even when auto demo is enabled.
Big nope from me: I joined while the placard system was still active, and it was awful. Literally 3-4 people in our FC showing up, clicking like mad, house after house, and never even landing a small for us. Some of us got carpal-tunnel type issues from hours of clicking. When they changed to the lottery, it did take a few times but eventually we landed a small, and were able to use it for multiple things including birthday parties for members.
BUT, I've also been trying for a Med or Large for a personal (I want to make a museum space) for most of that time, and nope. The zone where I have a small rarely even has smalls come open at this point, and with Demo being turned off for so many MONTHS now, nothing really comes available. We very much need more housing on existing worlds where wards are full, but also, again, I think we need a new type of neighborhood in which you buy a large-sized plot (where *all* the plots are large), then can *pick* the size of house you put on it. Them just adding more wards with only 3 larges and 3 mediums means those go quick, and then (like on Dynamis) the smalls stand empty for a long time.
Yes, doing a new neighborhood design IS a lot of work... but IMO the changes would pay off for SE and fix a lot of the problems, and they could limit it to 20 houses per neighborhood to cut back on how much data each one would require, and just do more of them to make up numbers.
Don't get me wrong: I appreciate the Demo-pausing for RL disasters, but SE lets the pause run for way too long---months? But Demo is a small band-aid for a big problem, IMO.
"For the world is hollow, and I have touched the sky."
People were supposed to only be there in "prime time" which was not 24 hrs long (thank god for that) it basically had a timespan of about 2 hours and that time had the biggest chance for the house to become available, the problem was that people camped for 10+ hours straight.Big nope from me: I joined while the placard system was still active, and it was awful. Also yeah I'm sorry, I'd rather be agaisnt like 20 or 30 people at a house instead of 500, but thats just me, some people just like to have absolutely no odds to ever win anything I guess.
IIRC it's not people, it's auto-clickers for the old method, so that's closer to 0% compared to now, it'd be more fair since everyone has 1 chance unless you've pooled FC gil together for more members to bid.People were supposed to only be there in "prime time" which was not 24 hrs long (thank god for that) it basically had a timespan of about 2 hours and that time had the biggest chance for the house to become available, the problem was that people camped for 10+ hours straight.

Still had more chances with a few auto clickers than 500 "real" people, but okay lol
