Cosmic Exploration Progress FATEs feel disrespectful

I did the... charge the battery? Fate and it was god awful. To add Injury to insult, I'm on a low population server (Marilith) so we failed it.

I genuinely don't get it. THIS is what took them 2.1 patches to release? This? I don't get it. Here I was thinking the upgrade fate would be a fun little victory lap to the next phase or feel like World Events in WoW and it was actually just one of the most dull uninspired tasks. Genuinely who thought this was fun? Was it supposed to be fun?

Edited this for clarity. As I don't think (or know) if Brynhildr failed this, I transferred to Marilith because I have a FC house there.
