It's based on Ishgard Restoration which was the same, where everyone picks something up, carries it somewhere, then applies it. As FATEs, they are not class-specific like Red Alerts are.

Despite the simplicity of the FATEs, it was fun just seeing so many players together building something really fast. It gave a similar feel to what happened in Shadowbringers where everyone on the First built a giant hand to climb up to fight Innocence.

I don't think the content is fun for the most part, but having other players there is far better than Island Sanctuary, which went completely counter to the idea of a "massively" multiplayer game. The social interaction in shout has been fun.

At least there's some little gimmicks and challenges in the steller missions too.
