NA Housing Demolition?

California is still in shambles and it's still gonna take them a long time to rebuild. I have family down there and they couldn't have evacuated even if they wanted to because they're basically in the center of where all the fires were.

If I can just put my two cents in and say.... I think this entire issue is out of selfishness. Ya'll realize this is just a game, right? You're mad that a video game company cares about their player base enough to stop a demolition system for massive disasters so that people have time to cope and rebuild what was lost? Ya'll are just complaining to complain about something, it's a video game.. get over it. Stop being selfish about a video game. You don't like how a system is? Don't play. Or maybe actually go help the relief projects out there actually rebuilding the cities that were destroyed.

How about go to Dynamis and actually POPULATE IT, so that it can have a chance to fill up. You don't realize how many empty houses that are going unbid on round after round. Instead of complaining that it's dead, help build it up and make a new community after it. Primal had to do it... Materia has been having to do it. There's a solution to your complaints if you would just... stop complaining and find your solution. I'm happy with my transfer. Yeah my friends are on Primal and Crystal, but I can easily visit to do content with them, and doing roulettes isn't much of an issue unless it's Frontline. All that would be resolved if people actually populated the place but everyone is too damn petty about living on a "dead DC"... it wouldn't be dead if you actually played there! The people that do play there are actually TRYING to make it playable, so be the community that XIV has won awards for and HELP.

Hold SE accountable for the lack of housing and the plots not getting freed from auto demo ? Naaaah, blame it on the players instead for not wanting to move to a dead DC that was DoA just like Materia.

It's not up to people to move to a dead DC, leave friends and FC behind just because they cant get a house on the pre-existing dc's, and the fact you even write that unironically, putting the responsibility for dynamis (and materia)'s failure on the playerbase is very questionable, did you ever think that maybe materia and dynamis are surplus DC's that shouldnt even exist ? That both DC's are mostly populated by multiowners (and bots...) ? SE put up Dynamis expecting the massive influx of players to continue, yet it has gone down for quite a long time now, those DC's arent justified anymore, and they will stay close to empty (aside from seraph and kraken which are okay-ish).

The only solution is to distribute the dynamis servers to other DC's, because dynamis and materia both wont ever get anywhere close to the population of other datacenters, there's not enough population to populate this many of them, SE knew 4 worlds werent even close to populated, and they thought it was a good idea to add 4 new ones to those that already were empty aside from seraph, what could go wrong ? But yeah, pop off and blame it on the playerbase.
