I don't mind this kind of weirdness with single player games but MMOs it kind of sucks when the same thing that ended up spawning Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and Wind Waker is at play with a live service game.
    I don't see a way they can fix that without having the devs sit down and be like "hey guys wait, we gotta make this mechanic in a way that accommodate people with 9-5 jobs that only wanna spend 4 weeks on this" and risk making the difficulty stale or even easier from tier to tier, they would risk another Light heavyweight tier if they do that in my opinion

    Up to the PF player to manage their time and either grit their teeth and suffer for the sake not leaving the tier unfinished, or be like this is a waste of my time and quit, none of these two options are bad for content thats supposed to become more challenging

    The style of puzzle solver content they have only works at the lower levels of difficulty like EX fights, where just about anyone can sit down and confidently complete the content with a couple of goes, as the asking price of someone who has completed the content to go back and assist is also likewise low. What I stated above in my last post even applies to the light heavyweight tier because making it easier just means people in the early weeks clear faster and then we're back into the extremes of 1-2 week clears and then the rest are at 10-12+ weeks again.

    For once, older MMOs got this down better where there was quantity being it's own quality and allowing people who were more casual to be a force multiplier. It rewarded the good players and gave the masses a way to access all things in the game. This whole idea is carried over in the action RPG genre like PoE2, where people can run others through the 4th ascendancy.

    What also makes this perplexing is that they HAVE the special content already for the truly dedicated via ultimates, so there isn't even a good reason to be so strict on other content.
