Prog skipping/lying is going wild this tier.

Its unhinged to hop from PF to PF far above the progpoint to single handedly ruin the party within 2 pulls after already waiting for a while to fill.
All this wouldnt be a problem if SE stops actively protecting those players.
Players that are not bad at the game want to be able to point out if someone is holding the group back but we cant because everything you say in partychat nowadays can get you into the GM-Jail. We want to be able to look up playerstats on certain websites before we decide to keep that person in the party but even that is... against the guidelines. The only way to escape from players like this is to just disband the party and open a new one where the circle begins again.

They are both unhinged, it doesn't make your suggestion any better lol. Besides, you don't even need their permission, just go ahead, do it, share it on Reddit, and to other raiding discords... Like, you don't need their permission lmao, it's external to the game... The only thing that is going to happen, is most people will think it's weird, at best.

The problem with this, is people cannot use these things responsibly, so it's all well and good coming in with the "But if they allow us to do it..." - Like... People in this community aren't going to use it responsibly and it's only going to encourage further unhinged and cringe behavior... Like the one person that decided to make an Excel sheet which scalped everyone's post on the healer thread, and then linked with FFLogs to create their own scoring system to turn it into a tool of public shaming.. That is the sort of weird behavior you'd be enabling with an inane suggestion like this.

I get it, people lying is not fun, especially when it impacts your own progress or enjoyment, but this ain't the solution to your suggestion, because people absolutely would go beyond using it as a simple list to determine who to blacklist, and I think you also know that lol.

Square Enix aren't protecting anyone, they just apply their ToS, and lethargy is as much against the ToS as any other activity. If you're being banned for "merely letting someone know they aren't performing well", then the chances are you weren't exactly just telling them that their performance is less than what the duty expects. There are far too many people with self-awareness that seemingly doesn't exist, and in many cases where you do actually get more information, it's more often than not that the sanction applied was justified.

There is no big scary boogieman in the team that is secretly out to get those for communicating underperformance, just as there is no big scary boogieman protecting these people that underperform LOL

I never said I want SE to give us a list like this. I want SE to not go against players creating this kind of list.
But please tell me whats more cringe? Someone frequently joining PUG's far below their progpoint, wasting 7 other peoples time while being protected by multiple layers of ToS OR a community created list that reduces scummy behaviour like this.

I dont really care if someone in the party I'm in uses any kind of Third-Party. It doesnt directly interfere with my own gameplay. A person single handedly wiping the raid does. Its really not the same.

They don't care. They don't even care about crafting bots ruining the markets. Go make that list, it won't help you anyway, cause you see that a person haven't even seen the enrage, and you still decide play with them and then get mad that you can't get past adds... Just kick prog liars or people without gear... Like what's even the problem?... There's no problem, but yeah let's create a dodge list that trolls definitely won't abuse to ban the people they don't like or want to make fun of, never happened in any other game that has a similar system.

For a game that prides itself in removing all kinds of points of friction to reduce toxicity and soothe down its social experiences, it sure does manage to turn every other player into a potential hurdle or enemy. It certainly doesn't seem to foster a spirit of "we're in this together" kind of vibe.

It just depends on the players. You can do it as nice as possible, but you cannot patch it into players brains.

There was always prog skipping, now we’re all just more aware of it. But there’s no good solution because seeing a prog point once doesn’t tell whether or not the you can get to it consistently. Just like how Duty Complete parties aren’t guaranteed to actually clear instead of just disbanding.

M6S sucks in PF (I went a little crazy trying to get my clear last week and then my reclear this week), and is a hard fight to get consistent at, but if you only stay in decent parties then you’ll get it. Hopefully it won’t take much longer.

Look, I know this is Final Fantasy XIV, the game isn't doing very well and the player base has seen a steep drop-off so no one really cares about this. But that not all of us have forgotten what Yoshi-P said. His #1 problem with you using a parser is that you are using it to bully people and blacklist them. That website aggregates data that a third-party program mines and uploads. I, for example, cannot upload that data, because I do not use illegal third-party tools. You are the exact cause of the problem, verbatim, from the game director. As such, if I see it, I will report it to Square Enix.

Thanks for the kind words. I managed to clear shortly after this post with a group where the partylead was actively kicking sandbaggers and prog liars. Went really smooth the moment we had 8 people knowing what to do.
