Face reality. MMOs are dead. Why do you think Square Enix isn't investing in FF14?

You need to face reality yourself.

If they were dead, no one would be playing them. But millions of players (collectively across all active MMOs) still do. It's not just the nostalgia factor. It's because of the social experience that single player games don't offer.

If SE wasn't investing in FFXIV, there wouldn't be new content getting added to the game. Players might feel the investment should be higher than it is but there is still an investment being made.
