Half half. I can see it being "not eorzean miqo, different culture", but also, I doubt DT writers care about established lore that much.

Keepers and Seekers have different culture, makes sense that Turali ones have too, suppose there are some that also choose a different style of life depending on how they were raised or where they were raised instead of traditional tribal life. Heck I think if I remember right, correct me if I'm wrong, Y'shtola suggested G'raha could go back to Corvos and challenge for Nunh if he wanted to.
My main issue is with the "Males are super rare in birth rate and rarely seen, so you don't see much of them" I think they were even rarer in 11, different game but clearly a leftover lorebit that they borrowed for the Miqo'te (Not counting player characters).
So why is Tural suddenly different with a boom of males? Maybe there's something mixed in the tacos that allow more males to be born over there.

To be fair, statistically, player catboys ARE vastly outnumbered by player catgirls as well, and it's not even close lol. So the lore technically got that one pretty much spot on.
There isn't any evidence to suggest tia are cast out or otherwise limited in number by their tribes (except by the race's natural sex disparity); you're probably confusing that bit of lore with the Keepers, whose males are expected to leave the family unit when they reach adulthood. Like Viera, male Keepers traditionally only visit the women of their clan to breed.

Miqo'te supremacy. Our population is now superior to all others. Our plans for global domination and enslavement will soon begin. All the bland races will be forced to build giant balls of string for us to play with.
we dont see everything ingame anyway. there would be way more villages and people in actual tural opposed to what we see.... the ones we dont see are probably 99.99% female xD
without fun jobs none of the content is fun!
jobs should have their full rotations on lvl 60 or 70! for a better low lvl experience.
for satisfying glam builduing we need 5 basic glamplates + 2 more for each class / job
pls give us a proper glam collection like every other mmo has.
pls upgrade the gear from normal raid and also alliance-raid by 10 ilvl each.
pls add old glowy ex trial weapons for new jobs!
and for gods sake pls give as the ability to preview any hairstyle on our own character!
The cultural arguments are not valid, its a biological problem.
According to the Encyclopædia Eorzea, "[f]or reasons yet unclear, female Miqo'te vastly outnumber males, a unique trait among Eorzea's races."
The culture only change who is the leader, but not the birthrate. So Miqo'te everywhere on Eorzea have a higher female birthrate. That is why the culture has developed that way. The "lion tribes" have a male dominance, because they are few and they use the strongest leader for there off-spring. While the "bobcats families", share there male under the female family leaders and the native American ones should do a concept that also shows that female population it is "vastly outnumber the males".
If somebody claim that "Eorzea" is only the content, sorry, its the whole planet "Aetheris". The original continent is Aldenard, Eozea is the whole planet! So also the native American ones should resemble the concept that miqo'te are mostly female! And for my theory, miqo'te are build by the ancient ones! And they like them as a "servant" race and the females where cuter so they give them the trait that there are mostly females born.
Also the original concept of miqo'te are based on cats! Cats have very few differences between genders. You can simply not tell by most feline races if there are male or female. Lions are an exception! So the original concept that miqo'te are only have female appearances would be correct. The only difference between a male and a female miqo'te should be only the breasts. But yes, miqo'te males should like like females without breasts. Without showing in the pants, all miqo'te males where "traps"!

Eorzea isn’t the whole planet, etheryis is or to those who don’t know that name the planet is haedalyn. Eorzea is the name of the collectively aligned societies that make up aldenard AND vylbrand.
Miqote also can’t be made by the ancients as the WOL can canonically be any race and the WOL is the largest shard of Azem. Therefore all intelligent races are by proxy shattered ancients. The ancients aren’t any one race they are the race of a complete soul while the 9 intelligent races are the races of shattered souls
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Than why this thing is called "map of Eorzea"?
Eorzea is the known world! In lore the people call it "Eorzea" and as more continents are explored, they will get added to the known world and in the end all on the planet is called "Eorzea". Like on the map you see here, also Tural will be on the map of Eorzea! You can claim that in the first lore book it stand "haedalyn" but that book is outdated when the game goes on. So to call it "Eorzea"! Because that is the known world for them and they add more and more and more to it. Also Aetheris is the whole deal, the world before the shattering happens.
Also there is no problem with a miqo'te an the soul of Azem. Where did you get the idea from? Every race that exist in "aetheris" the whole thing, before the shattering, exist also in all the other shards. Its the same with the soul of Azem. The soul of Azem can be reborn in the original shard in every race! And why it is the biggest part? Because of the rejoinings, the soul of Azem in the original shard like every out soul that is splintered gets more complete. Also your idea, think about it, when miqo'te can't be Azem, every of the races can't be Azem, because you would need an ancient race for it! But there is no ancient race anymore! Also to think that the ancient could not look like miqo'te... why? They are beings of pure aether! They can choose every form they like! Maybe miqo'te where a concept of them.

Who's calling that "a map of Eorzea"? The actual description is right there on the map: "The Three Great Continents".
There's no "Eorzea" label because its two major components Aldenard and Vylbrand are labelled separately.
Alternately if you look at the updated version of this map in the game, the label for Eorzea has been added to the middle of that continent (between the small labels for Coerthas and Mor Dhona) in the continent-labelling font.
There is a separate map sometimes used (e.g. pages 4-5 of the first lorebook) that just shows Eorzea and is titled as such, cropped from the Three Great Continents map.
