The Male Miqo'te situation of Tural (SE forgetting their own lore?)

So, me and my friend counted that there are over 20 male Miqo'te in Shaloaani, which is supposed to be the main hub for the Miqo'te population "Hhetsarro" in Tural.
This strikes rather odd in terms of the lore, where male Miqo'tes are supposedly extremely rare in their society and they are having a population boom over in Tural.

Do you suppose SE and the new writers just forgot their own lore, or just simply went "screw it" when they approached this new tribe to just find something to replace the Whalaqee for whatever reason?
The copium take is this is a link to some new miqo'te lore, like a missing link between their exodus` back in the calamity?

BUT, IF we were to give SE leeway and look this over as a lore-relevant insert. WHY do you think the birth-rate of males in Tural is booming like this compared to the lore?

According to the estabalished lore, the Miqo'te were driven out of Eorzea by the Allagans and returned across two seperate era / time periods from Ilsabard and Meracydia. The lore is super sparse save for the dispersal from Eorzea and the returning periods from two seperate landmasses. I'd go as far to say that there's more male Miqo'te in Shaaloani alone than there is in all of Eorzea though I've not personally counted.

With that said, I'm leaning towards this being an oversight/forgetting the lore or just not caring.

Inb4 SE write in genetic manipulation via the Allagans to stunt the population size by massively reducing male births.

I’m assuming it’s a hand wave of “different continent different population size and rules” because square shots themselves in the foot 10 years ago by making the most popular male race canonically very rare

The three most popular female races (hyur, miqote and au’ra) are all extremely common in one region or another we have explored before but the popular male race appears once or twice and only for important NPC’s

It wouldn’t be too hard to just say “allagans didn’t affect tural” and leave it at that

You'd be better off asking this in the Lore section. General Discussion is for doomposting.

The races do have different rules in different regions, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure general race lore was thrown out the window with Tural. The miqo'te in Shaloaani would of been a perfect opportunity to introduce us to a new tribe.

I don't get why all the races are called something else in Tural. The people of the far east didn't go by different names, and it's not like we're speaking different languages. This kinda bugged me about the First as well but I give them a pass because it's basically another world.

Mystel on the First in Shadowbringers also happen to have an equal distribution of the sexes. There's also been Miqo'te in Eorzea mentioning having had a normal family with a mom and dad present.

The writers haven't entirely forgotten that playable races have some rare sexes since Xb'raal (Hrothgar) and Shetona (Viera) still have rare women and men respectively so I'm not sure what's been up with Miqo'te lore since ShB.

Could just write it off as the weird disparity for Miqo'te is only present in Eorzea/Ilsabard and that city Miqos in Eorzea also generally live like Hyurs and not in tribes.

Tural has been completely cut off until the past 60 years and they've only been speaking Eorzean for about that long too. Even some tribes like the Whalaqee only have a small handful people who speak our language according to the BLU quests.

Not sure how the tribes who come out of the woodwork once they lost their magic items miraculously speak Eorzean and can book a passage to Kugane just fine, but that's just how it is I guess.

For generations, the Seeker of the Sun Miqo’te clans have tightly controlled the birth and survival of male Miqo’te, enforcing a rigid hierarchy where only a single "nunh" is permitted per tribe to maintain dominance and scarcity. A rogue faction of Sharlayans, paid off by the male Miqo’te nunhs, asist in smuggling infant male Miqo'te to Tural using experimental teleportation magicks, erasing their aetheric signatures to avoid detection.

I'm leaning towards the lore established when the game released were based on Eorzean Miqo'te. Also, there are no Seekers of the Sun tribes that are nomads like those from Tural, so that could also be another factor why the cultures are different.
