Hamlet defense: who got curbstomped?

As in, my first opinion of the hamlet defense is that, for what was seemingly advertised as "everyone can do this" content, it is a bit on the difficult side.

Everyone can participate =/= everyone can clear the content.

How do you even lose at this? You guys have a higher rank Hamlet or something?

It's a bit sad that you can't run with a bit more of a varied party setup, but it's still too early to say that it's unfriendly to odd-ball setups.

But it does seem War stacking is pretty prevalent in most win groups. I want to see a group go in with 4 DoM/DoW and 2 crafters/gatherers take it down or something.

We've gotten the boss to pop 2 or 3 times, and we didn't wipe just failed because they took out all the supply carts. One DoH and one DoL in the mix make things easier.

Just logged off from 2 successful runs on Hyperion with a pick-up.

I went as Fisher while others: WHM, WHM, BRD, WAR, WAR, WAR and WAR. The debuffs from the potions help a lot when timed. Especially the HP down. WHMs buffed and healed the NPCs while maintaining our party of course, but things went down considerably fast with the enfeeble. With some quick thinking if shit hits the fan the DoL can get an AoE sleep of to help with recovery if need be...

All in all I enjoyed it although we didn't get any goods from it. Suppose we'll see what the rewards are in 24hours?

idk, our first round pty setup was mostly warriors, instead of being like most of the movie 300,(impenetrable wall of death) it was more like the last fifteen minutes (slaughtered without mercy)

Sorry I mean during the provisioning state, they already had 1.5 mil points by the time the battles began. If anima went over 100 they'd have insane amounts.

Gath's 1gil says that community will never do Hamlet defense (after 1.22) even though everyone has been QQing for harder content.
