The new antagonist doesn't seem to be so bad, as in, looks like he may make for a good villain. BUT. I cannot get over how absolutely awful his character model looks. Like they pasted a 12 year old boy's head onto an adult body and then gave him a stock anime scientist outfit. Like they were trying to make a Genshin character in FFXIV. He just looks so awful. They really need to decide on an art direction and theme then just stick with it.

xiv's typical child models are just downsized male midlander bodies from what i recall, so unless they made a whole new model for him, they did in fact just paste a childlike head onto an adult body
