Yoshi-P publicly announced that this was a mistranslation and that he did not say that at all.

So what they meant was they were enhancing the gameplay (aka battles) in Dawntrail, especially from 7.2 because the first tier is always easy, and then after all that is done (we know from other interviews they mean 8.0), they will look at the jobs. The article writer misinterpreted it as jobs that would change from 7.2, when they meant the battles would.
