Honestly, when FF16 is so barebones, I frankly doubt they actually even want to develop a fleshed out gearing system.

Like in that game you don't have the excuse of "ooh people will just flock to the meta" or "if you don't build right you'll get kicked", but they still made gearing basically completely irrelevant.

I think there should be a general skill requirement to talk about game systems, the meta game, etc. You can't expect me to take some of these suggestions and replies seriously when people very clearly struggle to play the game itself, let alone form a critical thought on its systems.

Why should we change or dismantle a system because Donny Doton, the 0 parsing normal raid legend, thinks it's bad? It's rediculious. No, Donny's opinion doesn't matter, and we shouldn't pretend that it does.

Yeah OK, OP's main cleared 4 Ultis on patch, have multiple tiers of 99s including on BLM, multiple week 1 kills, all 3 deep dungeon solos, PvP t100, but ok lol
