    The changes were done due to snapshotting issues. Players (mainly in CC) would be solidly in Guard and still take maximum damage because long-animation moves were pressed just beforehand. If you didn't foresee the damage, you were dead. Now it allows you to take action before animations resolve.

    Yea, I get it on things like maybe a dash like the warriors spin or something but the delay on my instant moves feels off, delayed, and clunky. I don't like it at all. I'm a mnk in your face but my moves are delayed....so lame.

    I think one does get somewhat used to it with repetition, but I completely agree some jobs just feel awful. I switched from maining WAR because of it.

    What I found really... "surprising" (?) ... is that, despite a long laundry list of changes the players have suggested, the hit detection/animation lock changes were not requested by any players to my knowledge.

    And yet whenever I get the GM response after reporting someone for lethargic play in FL, it includes the recommendation I post suggestions for change on the official forums.

    Well when someone else is in YOUR face, you'll appreciate that defending feels more reactive.

    Maybe I get use to it like some have said but my instant spells not being instant feels so so dumb. Like Earths reply literally taking like 2 or 3 secs to heal me for a instant spell to finish its animation is just silly. It should say "after 2 or 3 secs" just feels off compared to before. Probably because animations were not made to take this game play in to account. Its just feels like I'm consistently lagging all the time. I think this was a bad choice to make so abruptly. Maybe fore some skills but others just feel out right bad.
