The biggest joke for me is the BLM changes tbh and its killing any hope I have left for the game. Since 7.0 all the changes they've done go against job identity, depth and player agency and the recent BLM one is straight up nasty. I find harder and harder to believe that in 8.0 the devs will deliver half decent jobs and without that I cannot see myself enjoying the game further

Don't worry, 8.0 will be the Job identity expansion unless that is a new Misstranslation TM.

All jobs got so homogenised there is 0 difference between them, but the weapon. Why should I play a DRG over a RPR? Or a BRD over a DNC? A few special effects? Different weapon? BLM was the only Job left with a semblance of playstyle choice with the speed mage build. And they gutted that in 7.0 and now they are going to gut it even more! Why do they need to make all Jobs play the same? Let there be jobs that are better at certain things! Let BRD have the best crowd control, let BLM choose slow and steady or fast and mobile, let the SCH have the best Dots, let WHM be the heal cannon!
Keep 1 of each role as the baby friendly Job and develop the rest! Majority who cry over not liking the old SCH with 2 Faeries and Dots galore, only unlocked the Job for glamour and a few achievements anyway!

Let Astro have RNG card system but doesn't matter now, I'll get the next rework in 8.0 in two years. Why bother with this stuff anymore? Usually I watch every LL, but since I realized it's just one disappointment after another, I don't care anymore. I really don't. Opened the forums, saw some screenshots and realized I have to wait another two months for somewhat interesting content (that will probably disappoint me anyway). I am not even surprised. At all. I used to be excited for this game, but now I am not.
