When will they acknowledge that the gameplay is just horrendous?

the only difference is that FFXIV has a Slower GCD then other games and that is exactly the reason why i like it

The game is build around the slower GCD, but you will only learn to play with it when you do difficult content like savage, but it does feel really slow at the beginning to mid-game

Attack boss > run out of an AOE while you are on GCD > engage again without losing uptime.

The Long Global CD allows you to move around and dodge mechanics.
